Some say the Christian life is lonely—a narrow path that gets narrower and lonelier the longer you walk it. But that’s not the faith the Bible speaks of. Christianity isn’t about isolation; it’s about belonging. When you receive Jesus, you become a child of God and part of a global family of believers. The early Church ate together with glad and sincere hearts (Acts 2:46)—and that’s still happening today. Yes, Jesus said the way is narrow (Matthew 7:13–14), but that doesn’t mean it’s joyless or empty. It means it’s focused, purposeful and full of grace. The road to life is walked not in single file, but side by side with people who love God—and each other. God promises, Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). You’re not alone. You never were and never need be. The Christian life isn’t lonely—it’s life shared and life overflowing. Come walk with us.

Every year, Open Doors publishes a World Watch List showing where Christians face the worst persecution. North Korea tops the list—being known as a Christian means harsh labour camps or death. Other harsh countries include Afghanistan, Somalia, Libya, Pakistan, Iran and Nigeria. Despite this, many still turn to Christ, with thousands converting even in dangerous places like Iran and China, which has the largest Christian population globally. Persecution isn’t new; the early church faced it too. Paul, once a fierce persecutor of Christians, was transformed by Jesus and endured beatings and imprisonment for his faith. This doesn’t sound much of an advert for Christianity, does it? Yet Paul called knowing Christ worth all loss. Real Christianity means standing firm despite hardships. Are you ready to follow Jesus, no matter the cost?
